John Paul II and St? Josemaria Modus Operandi
John Paul II and his mystical bride St. Josemaria de Opus Dei has a strategic Modus Operandi. First, the Opus Dei control the Papacy because they bought Vatican real estate in the 1970's to salvage it from the Ambrosiano Bank fallout. Second, they control ALL the Cardinals and Bishops worldwide and all their appointments. (See this weblog for the month of June about the Opus Dei alone). (They literally are "wise like serpents" because the Opus Dei control the snake by its head!) Third, they control all the agendas of the Pope and therefore the survivors of those abused by priests have no room and seldom reach the Pope's ears. Because John Paul II made the Opus Dei a Prelature -- meaning they are answerable only to the Pope -- and since they control the Pope, therefore they are answerable to only to themselves!

So amidst the court proceedings in the Los Angeles county court, the Opus Dei is helping him to avoid any court appearance and testimonies.
